Intercult like intermedia is strongly interested in the place where different art mediums and styles interconnect. The distinction may be that Intercult also finds the place where icons and symbols or even objects interconnect to be just as interesting. This reasoning is more akin to the correspondences of Magick than to later semiotics. In Intercult a sculpture is more similar to a table and a cat is more similar to a performance artist. When all inanimate objects are tables than all performance art that involves objects is akin to a cat sitting on a table. The symbiosis of the concepts form a web of interconnected-ness that would seem quite natural to people around the world pre colonialism.
